2017 Chrysler Model Lineup
There are three awesome and highly-rated Chrysler vehicles to choose from for the 2017 model year. The vehicles include the Chrysler 300, Chrysler 200, and Pacifica/Pacifica Hybrid models. Not sure which to choose? Check out all the specs and important highlights of each below!
Chrysler 200
2017 is the last model year for the Chrysler 200 sedan! The vehicle has two engine options and four trim options. The trim options include LX, Limited, S and C. The base engine standard on the LX is a fuel efficient 184 horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. The engine gets 171 lb-ft of torque and 23 city/36 highway mpg. The upgraded 3.6-liter V6 engine produced up to 295 horsepower, 262 lb-ft of torque and gets an EPA estimated 18 city and 28 highway mpg. Highlights of the Chrysler 200 include all-wheel-drive option, 101.4 cubic feet of passenger volume, 17-inch steel wheels and a 5-star overall NHTSA crash safety rating.
Chrysler 300
The Chrysler 300 is also a sedan option, but it is larger and comes standard with more luxury features. Engine options for the 2017 300 include a 3.6-liter V6 engine or a fast 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. Trim levels include Limited, S, S Alloy, C, and C Platinum. No matter which trim level you choose, they all come standard with high tech features and luxury features including leather seats. The base engine produces up to 300 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque and gets an EPA estimated 19 city and 30 highway mpg. The upgraded engine gets an astonishing 394 lb-ft of torque and 363 horsepower.
Chrysler Pacifica
New to the 2017 model year lineup is the Chrysler Pacifica and it is reinventing the minivan as a cool vehicle. Featuring a sleek and sophisticated design as well as one of the best fuel economies in the minivan segment, the Pacifica is available with a standard gas engine and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). The Pacifica comes standard with a 3.6-liter engine and the Pacifica Hybrid is equipped with a modified version of the 3.6L engine, dual electric motors and a 16 kWh lithium ion battery.
The Pacifica averages 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway and the Pacifica Hybrid has a total driving range of over 500 miles, a pure electric range of 33 miles and it has a combined city/highway fuel economy of 84 MPGe.
No matter which model the driver chooses, the Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid come standard with three rows of seats as well as the Stow ‘n Go Seating System. The Pacifica was also named an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ and the minivan has more than 100+ safety features (standard and optional).
