Trims and Engines
There are three trim options for the Chevy Suburban, each of which are standard with 2WD and have a 4WD option. The trim levels (in order from base to highest level) include the LS, LT and Premier. These trims vary based on interior and exterior features, technology, and of course, price.
Along with all of these trims comes the same standard 5.3-liter V8 engine. This engine can produce up to 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The Suburban has an impressive fuel economy that averages about 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway, which is great for a V8 engine. For towing needs, the Suburban has a maximum towing capacity of 6,300 pounds.
The Chevy Suburban is a large four-door SUV with seating for seven or eight passengers. No matter what trim you choose, you are going to experience the sleek and athletic style on the outside, and the luxurious inside of the Suburban. Features like black assist steps, luggage rack side rails, blackwall tires on 18-inch polished aluminum wheels come standard on the base trim, the LS. Other exterior features such as integrated roof rails, 20- or 22-inch wheels, and larger tires are available on all trims.
The interior of the Suburban is smooth and luxurious. Features like front bucket seats, a second-row split folding seat, premium cloth seating, and a leather wrapped steering wheel are all standard on the Suburban LS. Prices for the Chevy Suburban vary based on trim. The starting price for the 2017 Chevy Suburban LS begins at $52,915 and goes up to roughly $67,730 for the 2017 Chevy Suburban Premier.
Warranties for the Chevy Suburban include a three-year or 36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
