December 2nd, 2020 by

The 2019 Ford Fusion midsize car is extremely versatile in more ways than one can even dream of. This vehicle offers something for everyone, with it’s five trim levels that offer a wide range of individual options, varying but affordable prices, and some models offering an eco-friendly hybrid engine. The Fusion car can also be equipped with all-wheel-drive, driver-assist technologies, and entertainment features. Driver’s Auto Mart is selling the pre-owned 2019 Ford Fusion for just around $12,000, and with a steal like that, it’s no wonder why it’s our Used Car of The Week!

The 2019 Ford Fusion has six engines in total, with two of them being hybrids. The first is a front-wheel-drive 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, it pushes out 173 horsepower with 174 lb-ft of torque. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine on the SE trim kicks up a bit more with 181 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, but you’ll get a much more dramatic push with the 245 horsepower 2.0-liter engine with 275 lb-ft of torque.

The hybrid and the plug-in version of the 2.0-liter will mark a significant drop in their power (188 horses and 195 horses) but are still suitable nonetheless. However, buyers will experience the biggest thrill of them all will the highest-ranking Sport model, as it utilizes its 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 engine to bring this bad boy up to 325 horsepower with 380 lb-ft of torque.

The first three Fusion cars rock a 5-bar grille design, while the Titanium model uses a type of chrome mesh. Changes for this particular model year such as the trunk lid, fog lights, LED taillights, wheel designs, and revamped color selections haven’t lost their touch for 2020. Of course, the Sport model brings out the big guns with its dark wheels and black mesh grille.

Interior and Features

The inside of the car is incredibly fresh and modern, especially with its rotary shifter and electronic parking brake. All five passengers should be satisfied with the amount of elbow and legroom. Passengers riding in the SE model will enjoy the Sync 3 connectivity and 8-inch touchscreen, especially since this system comes with Wi-Fi. SEL is even more boogie with its posh seat fabric, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. However, that still doesn’t beat the heated steering wheel, heated and cooled seats, inflatable rear belts, a moonroof, and adaptive cruise control on the Titanium.

Additionally, the Ford Fusion is here to keep you safe with the brand’s Co-Pilot360 Protect safety suite, as it includes adaptive cruise control as well as voice-activated navigation and Sirius XM Traffic on top of the standard automatic emergency braking, blind-spot information, lane-keeping system, a rearview camera, rain-sensing wipers, and auto high-beam lighting.
