The 2020 BMW 3 Series Is Driver’s Auto Mart’s Used Car of The Week!
The 2020 BMW 3 Series is an artfully crafted compact executive vehicle. Though it may be known for its luxury, it also provides an incredible performance for both the driver and their passengers. With energetic powertrains, a high-class cabin, and several standard features, it’s no wonder why it’s been chosen as Driver’s Auto Mart’s Used Car of The Week!
Engine
For the 2020 model year, the BMW 3 Series has two powertrain options: a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 and a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6.
The 4-cylinder 2.0-L turbo serves as the base engine and has a satisfying output of 255 horsepower with 295 lb-ft of torque. This will be more than enough for most buyers, particularly those looking for some pep on their regular commute to work. It has 36 mpg, an excellent figure for highway fuel economy.
However, for those who are real adrenaline seekers, the 6-cylinder 3.0-L that is practically made for you will be found on the 340i. This thrilling motor has an output of 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. An exhilarating ride, indeed!
All models of the 3 Series are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive (RWD) systems are standard, while all-wheel-drive (AWD) is optional.
Interior
The interior of the 5-seater 2020 BMW Series is elegant and refined. The brand is known for its minimalistic and clean style, which many buyers of the automaker prefer. Though it has a simple style, its luxury materials are anything but.
Touches soft to the touch are bountiful, as are physical knobs and switches. Handling the majority of the car’s in-car functions is a large touchscreen. This 8.8-inch display is paired with the brand’s iDrive controller and sits right above the center console.
In this cabin, you’ll find that seating is firm and pleasant. Some reviewers have said that these seats are similar to the ones in the M Sport iterations of the model. For 2020, the Series 3 car received a lengthened body, making it possible to have a back seat to fit adults. The trunk size was also expanded to 17 cubic feet, only to be increased using the 40/20/40-split-folding rear seat.
Standard Features
In the entry-level version of the rear-drive 330i, the 2020 3 Series luxury car, specifically in Sport Line form, encompasses several in-car features, such as 14-way power-adjustable front seats, 3-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power moonroof, universal garage remote, and the brand’s SensaTec faux leather upholstery.
Standard features involve automatic emergency braking and lane-departure warning. Standard infotainment gathers the aforementioned 8.8-inch display with navigation and 205-watt/10-speaker audio system with Apple CarPlay integration.
Unfortunately, the one ding in this gem of a vehicle is that it this one of the few cars at the time that had Apple CarPlay but no Android Auto support.
Driver’s Auto Mart
